I am Lubie (short for Luisa Barros), a brazilian line producer with character designer background, that has been working on the creative industry since 2012.

 

I've started as a freelancer generalist illustrator in 2012 and explored many possibilities until switching to animated series on 2020, when I acted as char & props for two big projects: Discovery's + Ba Da Bean, made by Birdo & Chatrone, and Wake Up, Carlo, on Netflix, made by Copa Studio.

 

While working on these big teams projects, I got in touch with the production's department and learned that there was a team responsible for managing chaos. Since then I decided to pursue a producer career and went back to college, where I researched the animations' production structure in Brazil and I learned many things about the craft but also about me, like that I fit better in pre-production, I also like script writing & unfortunately, for my 2d heart, I also like working on live action.
